BS, NCSF-CPT, NASM-CES, CFSC, PPSC
As a Certified Personal Trainer with over ten years of experience, I've cultivated a passion to guide people towards a healthier lifestyle. I’ve learned that everybody is truly unique, with their own strengths and limitations. Training at an upscale gym, I’ve worked with a broad group of clientele - from time conscious executives and professionals, to weekend warriors and competitors, to people looking for the next step after physical rehabilitation.
My method is to build a custom plan based on an intelligent movement assessment and a deep understanding of your fitness goals through thoughtful questioning. While designing your fitness journey I take into consideration your current health, schedule and interests. I strive to transform your body to move better, look better and perform better.
With my attention to detail, highly organized nature, a focus on an engaging fitness experience, and always driving to over deliver I can help you achieve higher levels of health. Working together, I aim to help you make more mindful decisions when it comes to your body and health one session at a time.
My name is Miguel Miranda and I am owner/cofounder of VIDAFIT. My journey began when I first studied biology in College. I became fascinated with how exercising and how the muscles work within the body and the feeling you get after exercise. My personal training started over 10 years ago at New York Sports Club. There I became very knowledgeable with many certifications and gaining confidence with my clients. I learned that personal training is in fact “personal” and you become part of their family. I competed for several years for WBFF and obtained my PRO CARD! Today I continue on this journey with VIDAFIT and want to share my knowledge and experiences with the trainers and the clients.”
Kevin A. Laudano
BS, NASM-CES, PES; AFFA-CPT, LMT
Kevin Laudano is a certified personal trainer and licensed massage therapist in the Hartford and New Haven area. He holds a BA in Exercise Science and has over a decade of experience in the fitness industry. Kevin has a unique style which blends his knowledge of human movement with his soft tissue practice and has crafted a philosophy that integrates both into a truly personalized program for his clients. Which have people moving and feeling better than they ever have. The integration of soft tissue work and proper tensioning has helped many clients decrease pain, improve performance and get to their results faster. His mission is to help people understand and better utilize breathing with internal muscular tension for more efficient movement. While working with Kevin there is a realization that there is more to just doing conventional “exercises” like squats and push ups but by focusing on total body integration with proper breathing mechanics people find a deeper understanding in the way their bodies move which translates to better movement in everyday life activities. Whether it's golf, bowling, softball or a simple jog his work is based on making movement better for all.
Chastian "Chas" Powers
NASM-CPT, CES, MMA Conditioning
Chastian ‘Chas’ Powers helps people move their bodies the way they’re designed to move. After suffering a career ending injury (or so he thought), caused by being unaware of the impact that our seated forward culture has on us, Chas found it fascinating to learn more about his muscles and the systems in charge of movements.
N.A.S.M. Certified Personal Trainer Since 2012, he went on to continue education with future certifications and working with experts. This led to realizing how almost every profession, through repetitive movement, can have a negative effect on the way we move and function.
Chas’ program design takes this into account on an individual basis, to get you the results you want, while getting the live coaching and support you need, with the convenience of your own schedule.
Knowledge being an important factor, Chas works with his clients to offer meal/diet strategy, customized workout programs, movement assessments, and health/fitness education to unlock your potential!
Chas continues to perfect his craft of human movement potential, through recent research and studies that have come out of the body exhibit museums, acupuncture methods, and massage therapy. 'We are on the right track, but we're still just at the tip of the iceberg of fully understanding our bodies”.
Outside the gym you can find Chas, mountain biking, rollerblading, stand up paddleboarding, hiking, hanging with friends, slinging drinks at the local bar, or eating way too many street tacos.
